We are an R.E.P with PMI, and the course satisfies the contact hours that you need for the PMP or CAPM exams. For the PMP exam, you also need to have enough work experience before taking the exam (3 to 5 years). You can find information about the prerequisites in the FAQ section of this page.
You would be eligible for our Pass Guarantee if:
You’ve completed the course, and your real exam was not more than 12 months after the start of your course and not more than 6 months after finishing your course.
You’ve taken at least 6 simulated exams, have a score of at least 75% in your last 4 attempts, and your real exam was not more than 10 days after your last simulated exam. Note: if your score in the last 4 attempts is not higher than 75% or your last attempt is more than 10 days before your real exam, you can simply take more simulated exams until you satisfy this condition. There’s no limit to the number of attempts.

The course is designed for busy professionals; most lessons are 10 to 15 minutes long, so that you can take one or two per day, without much effort. Also, we've avoided homework and covered it in other ways, because you probably don't have enough time and mental energy to spend many hours by yourself doing homework.

Take the lessons:
It’s best if you spend 15 to 30 minutes a day, every day. A gradual learning process is much more effective than an intense one. We’ve built the course with short, independent lessons to make it possible for you to study them gradually.
While you’re learning, don’t worry about memorizing anything. If something is important, we’ll repeat it so many times from different perspectives that you will automatically remember it.
Take notes, build mind maps, or draw diagrams while you’re taking the lessons. This helps you understand the lessons better and stay focused, even if you never use those notes.
At the end of the course, become a member of PMI® and apply for the PMP or CAPM exam using the certificate that you receive from us. Once you have done so, you can also download the PMBOK® Guide for free from the PMI website. You can use it as a reference, but you don’t have to read it for the exam. Don’t book the exam yet.
Now take one simulated exam. Do it as if it’s the real exam. At this point, your goal is to learn the style of the exam; your score will be higher in the next attempts. However, if you realize that you’re not good enough in certain topics, take those lessons again.
Take your second simulated exam:
If your score is higher than 70%: well done!
If your score is between 45% and 70%: check your answers and see which areas are causing you problems. Take the lessons that relate to those areas again. If you have trouble understanding some of the topics, contact us to review them together.
If your score is below 45%: contact us; we’ll check everything together and propose a custom plan for your studies.
Continue taking the exams until you constantly get scores 80% or higher. We recommend taking at least 6 simulated exams. This helps you fill in the gaps and also get used to the exam setting. Your success in the PMP exam is not only about your knowledge, but also about your ability to handle a long 4-hour session and, for example, stay focused throughout the session. Simulated exams are a good way of practicing that too.

No, it’s necessary to have formal education for the exam according to PMI. It’s preferable to take a course with a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) like ourselves, while other types of training can be accepted if they fulfill certain conditions.
PMI accepts both classroom courses and eLearning courses for exam preparation, as long as they follow certain guidelines. You will be eligible to take the PMP exam once you finish our eLearning course.
PDUs are for renewing your existing certificates with PMI. If you’re going to take the PMP exam, what you need is “contact hours” rather than PDUs. And yes, we do give you the contact hours that you need for the exam, and these are pre-approved, as we are an REP.
You need 35 contact hours for the PMP exam. Our eLearning course gives you 48 hours. For the CAPM exam, you should either have relevant work experience or 25 contact hours.
Back to PDUs: If you’re not going to take the PMP exam and yet you have another certificate with PMI (e.g. PMI-ACP®), then you can apply for PDUs with this course.
The exam price is not included in this course fee. When you finish the course, you will be eligible to take the PMP exam, and you can start applying for it. When your application is accepted, you can pay the exam fee to PMI and book it.
The PMP exam fee is $405 for PMI members and $555 for non-members. It’s best if you become a member, because although it costs you about $150, as a member you can download all standards for free and you’d have about $150 discount on the exam. The CAPM exam costs $225 for PMI members and $300 for non-members. The full application process is explained in the eLearning course.
The CAPM exam has recently been made available online, but the PMP and other exams from PMI are not online. Exams are done in Prometric centers, and there are centers in all major cities.
After you pay PMI for the exam, they give you a link, which you can use to select the location and time of your exam. It’s best to set the time a few weeks ahead to be sure it will be available at a time that suits you; e.g. you may not be able to find available places for “tomorrow at 3 pm”!
The PMP exam has 200 questions and lasts 4 hours. The CAPM exam has 150 questions and lasts 3 hours.
All questions are multiple-choice with one correct answer. Everything is in English, but language aid is available for some languages, and the questions are designed in a way that is comfortable for an international audience to understand. Furthermore, there are no trick questions – at least, in theory ;)
There’s no exact passing score for the exam, but it’s about 62%.
You can have breaks during your exam.
For the CAPM exam, you need to have either work experience or contact hours. When you take our eLearning course, you will accumulate the contact hours and so work experience won’t be necessary.
For the PMP exam, you need to have 4,500 hours of related work experience if you have a 4-year degree, or 7,500 hours if you have no such degree.
The work experience should be related to managing, directing, and leading projects. It doesn’t have to be as a project manager, but should involve project management activities. For example, if you’re a project planner, then almost everything you do is a project management activity, and so it counts. But if you’re a developer, say, the technical work that you do doesn’t count, whereas if you also spend a part of your time doing things such as collecting requirements, then you can submit that part.
Having the required amount of related work experience is not enough; the following two conditions should be satisfied as well:
Both of the above conditions are, however, open to interpretation. For example, you may consider yourself the only person who collects requirements. At first, this may seem like something that is done without a team, but when you think about it, you can see that more than 10 people have been contributing to that activity, and you’ve been following up with them, asking them to provide you with different types of information, coaching them, and so on: i.e. leading a team to collect requirements. If that’s the case, then it will be fine.
The final thing you should remember when submitting your work experience is to explain everything from the project perspective, rather than from the organizational perspective. For example, instead of saying that you’ve been a quality expert in the QA department of the organization, you should say which projects you’ve been involved in, and what your role was in those projects.
PMI selects a small percentage of candidates for audit, wherein they ask you to send them proof of everything in your application. In that case, what you need for your work experience is letters from your previous managers in which they explain your responsibilities and duration of service. So, note that it’s letters from your previous managers they want, not from the companies, which makes it easier.
If you don’t have access to your previous managers, you can ask the managers of those managers for the letter, and if you don’t have access to anyone in the chain of managers, you can ask your previous peers to write the letter for you.
CAPM is not as well known as PMP. If you tell people involved in projects that you are PMP-certified, most of them will know what it is and will appreciate it, while not everyone knows about the CAPM certificate.
If you don’t have enough work experience to take the PMP exam, you can aim for the PRINCE2® Foundation certificate before CAPM. That’s just my personal opinion, though.
Yes, we issue a certificate of completion at the end of the course, which you can send to PMI to show you’ve had formal training for your exam. And of course, you can also add our certificate to your resume.
Yes. As part of the PMI’s QA audit, all our certificates (as well as almost everything else) are checked every once in a while, in order for us to continue as an R.E.P. with PMI.

You don’t have to study the PMBOK Guide when using our eLearning course, as everything is covered throughout the course.
It’s best if you become a PMI member, as then you can download the PMBOK Guide and all other standards for free.
You need about 48 hours, although some people prefer to repeat certain activities, which makes it longer.
We suggest spending 20 to 30 minutes per day, in which case it would take you about 4 months to finish it. This is just our suggestion, because this short amount of daily activity doesn’t put pressure on you (we know that you’re busy with your work and already have a lot of things to worry about), and it also allows you to learn more efficiently. When you learn gradually, your brain has more time to digest and absorb the information.
On the other hand, if you prefer, you can take the course as if you are attending a classroom course – 7 to 8 hours a day – in which case, you can finish the course in a week.
Yes. The CAPM certificate expires after 5 years, after which you have to take the exam again.
As for the PMP certificate, you have to renew it every 3 years, by submitting 60 PDUs, which is 60 hours of professional development: i.e. learning new things about project management, helping others learn about project management, working as a practitioner, etc.

Once upon a time, eLearning courses were the inferior choice. This is not the case anymore, and well-formed, quality eLearning courses are better than classroom courses. How come?
Take us, as trainers: can you imagine how difficult it is to deliver a quality course for 8 hours a day? You get tired, or you just have a bad day, and it impacts the course. And who pays for that? The learner. In preparing an eLearning course, in contrast, we spend three to six months perfecting the course until it's just the way we want it. If we're tired, we just stop working and continue the next day; and if we're not satisfied with a lesson, we record it again, and again, and again!
Now think about yourself. Isn't it difficult to tolerate those hard chairs for 8 hours a day, trying to understand intense topics? Isn't it better to be able to take the course at your own pace, for example, half an hour per day? Isn't it great to be able to go back and take a certain lesson again if needed? And lastly, you don't have to risk your time and money taking a course with a trainer who you don't know.
There are many eLearning providers, and you might be wondering which one is the best choice for you. In fact, it's a simple decision: all you have to do is to watch demos of the courses and compare them :) Just be careful with one thing: there are some providers who create one or a few interesting videos as samples, while the rest of the course doesn't have anything to do with that.
